Bless You Keith Green

Marcy Renneberg (08/09/2012 23:20)

Shalom,

I was saved in 1977. I didn't know anything about Yahshua, and cannot remember how I heard about Keith, but do remember I bought every album Keith had put out probably until the early 80's. I listened to them, and sang with them over and over again. I'm sure I wore them out. Don't know what happened to them, as always had a really rough existence so when moving around, things always got lost.

I will never forget about Keith Green and the impact he made upon my heart. I learned much about godly sorrow, contriteness of spirit, of faith and how a relationship should be between us and our maker, so much.

I had signed up for the newsletter back then, and learned much from the articles. When read about Keith's death and the children, I cried alot. There was only one Keith, and wish he was still here , because he was a wonderful example of a true christian, I don't see any today that are as he was, it's just the truth, you don't see christians today with the love he had for Yahshua, his heart like David's heart, holiness, sacrifice, he truly lived what a true christian should.

Let me close with a very good example of Keith and Melody's love and sacrifice as christians should have:

I read how when got saved, they just took people in, loved them, and many got saved, does anyone do this today ? does any want to sacrifice for another ? No they don't, it has become all about self instead, I know today it's the end of time, and people are much worse then back then, but even the fact of christians sacrificing for each other as the early church did, no one lacked anything, they lived in close proximity with each other and took care of each other, willing to sacrifice all for each other, do we see this today, especially in America ? No, it is in other countries because they have suffered so much, and do not have the attitude etc that is here. I know, because in my own experience of needing help, and no family and christians around, when thought I was finally in the fellowship of some christians, they wounded me deeply instead, they totally destroyed me.

Keith and Melody never did that to anyone.

Bless You Keith and Melody,

Much Love in Yahshua HaMashiach,

Marcy
