Oh, Melody. I was directed here from another website I was on warning of false prophets. The man I was researching, beyond my desires, has red flags all over him. Yet his music/song in such a short time of hearing him, had begun to draw me out of a state of hard heartedness from wounds patched but not healed and into a newly found desire to get closer to the Lord I once held so dear. To let go of pain that stops you from even seeking the Lord's will for ones life, and leaves you just existing.(That would be the luke warm spoken of.) I hadn't felt my heart cry out to the Lord like I did while singing along with his songs IN A LOOOONG time. Upon trying to get info on his cd's I landed on a watchdog site, unintentionally. What I read and reread in disbelief was repeated on numerous sites. My heart crashed! I want so badly to believe it is all a mistake. I was upset with the site wondering where they get their info from and if THEY were on the up and up. I sat in front of my laptop starring at the accusations and references and scripture crying out to the Lord for discernment. For the man as well as the hosting sites. As I continued scrolling on this site, I saw a picture of Keith to the right with one of his videos. I posted a comment to the site stating my struggle in finding the truth about said man, then mentioned their posting of a Keith song and made reference to Keith knowing Gods word is unfailable, undeniable, unchangeable. They agreed and posted your site address. My heart misses Keith. The music you guys wrote and his heart for the Lord helped me through my teenage years and younger adult life. Some people can put into words and song what the rest of us feel so deeply in our hearts yet lack the skills to bring it forth. My hearts cry many many times to the Lord have been songs Keith (I just read AND you-wrote) I just started to cry. I miss Keith and the music you two gave us. What I miss even more is the KNOWING that Keith was legit. I trusted Keith's songs with my heart. They helped me talk to and cry out to the Lord when I couldn't find the words. They challenged and dared me to live righteous and to love the Lord 100%. And caused me to buy stock in kleenex cause I never made it out of my closet with Keith and the Lord with dry eyes. I'm still seeking the Lord as to the other person-and his prophetic ministry/music. Sadly it is his music that reached me. Not his prophesy. Yet if he proves to be false, I don't want to be united with him. Time to bring out Keith. Timeless, ageless, sincere. Thank you for keeping the
ministry you two built going. We still need you. One last thing. On your bio it said you were a pioneer in bringing prolife message to forefront. I did meet you back in Oct. 1988. I was one of the baby jane's arrested with Terry Randall in Atlanta, Ga. You came to the meeting before we went out. (Operation rescue.) I wanted to tell you how much Keith's music had been an aid in my Christian walk and growth...but it wasn't the appropriate time.It is now. My son is the same age I was when my cousin first handed me a Keith Green cassette. Time to introduce Keith to yet another generation. We need his music now more than ever. God bless you and keep you Melody. I hope to meet you and Keith in heaven. I'll be the one holding the kleenex. :) :

It is so easy to let the storms of life cause us to drift away. The older I get, the more Jesus Christ becomes my rock of security. I have seen Jesus' love for me despite failures. He deserves our love because of His tremendous sacrifice so that we could come to God and be loved and accepted by Him. Not to be preachy, but I am surely glad that He never gave up on me! :)

Beautiful writing !!!
From a man that has been married 35 years, I can state that you have hit the nail on the head. Being entirely devoted to the one you love, is essential to building an everlasting relationship, whether it is with God or your spouse, the same rings true !! I appreciate this website, it has become my morning read !!
AND....To the person that has the post about the musician, and the music that touched your heart, DO NOT let the vessal that the music was delivered through, quinch the blessing God gives to you. Regardless of the guilt or innocence of the man, God can and does turn evil into good, (consider the story of Joseph, and his brothers). I was reminded the other day, that God used the Van Halen song "Running with the devil", and AC/DC's "Highway to hell" as tools that lead to MY salvation. If God can use Angus Young or David Lee Roth to do a good work, He certainly isn't hampered by ANYTHING or ANYONE !!!

Your life/spiritual testimony is BY FAR one of the most inspirational, annointed by the Holy Spirit sister-in-Christ stories I have had the privilidge to read/learn about. It is so amazing how the Lord reveals His children with His other children (since we are all invited to be His believing children) by ways of writing and mans' modern ingenuity..."the internet." I was just having a discussion with my mother on this meaning of disciple John's writings in the book of Revelation, of "hot, lukewarm, or cold..." Whenever I found myself starting to "make excuses" in order to maybe allow an old subtle sin back in my life...I knew how easy it is to be a "lukewarm" christian. Whenever we feel the inclination to sin, we IMMEDIATELY need to stop, because, our love for Lord Jesus is NOT worth the spiritual infidelity OR disappointing Lord Jesus by imitating the "dog returning to its own vomit." Burning HOT is the only way to be in love...what is more appropriate than loving our Lord Jesus Christ Whom died for us with ALL of our physical, logical, emotional effort/selves? Nothing.
